So it seems that Westwood online is being sued for fraud…

I am beginning to wonder if god hates me.

They purposely mislead students about many things… some of which upon reading the lawsuit I am being screwed over with as well.

• Poor quality of teachers – can vouch for that
• Essentially force you to use Sallie Mae loans, whom are being sued in a different case for discrimination
• Flat out lies about how well their credits transfer to other colleges, very few will accept them
• Deliberately mislead people about how they will try very hard to help you find a job. I have received no assistance of any kind, neither have most people.
• Degrees from them are essentially worthless.

So yeah…. I am not enrolling for next term there…

Hey everyone, I was originally going to use my LJ for this but decided it would probably be better to keep the topics separate.

I set up a new blog purely for programming and game discussions. I will probably post about school there as well.

Said blog is Twibbit Coding It is done on Blogger rather than live journal simply because it is much more professional looking.

I will still use LJ and facebook for all the other things in my life. Family, stuff like that.

I doubt any of you will be avid readers, but that said I do intend to upload game samples as I code them up there so that maybe will interest you.

Its not exactly great but it is functional.

This is based on the game Faerytaleonline. A text RPG where you have to actually get born. This is all handled by players, you are given a queue to wait your turn to be assigned to a possible parent. I was bored and thus set up an Excel spreadsheet and started putting together information.

The reason for the two sets of results is that I used two possible methods. One based on the average birthrate, and another based on the Slope() function. Which one will be right? probably neither since every time I update the information things change.

But as I said, I was bored.

This money problem is getting desperate… to the point we are talking about a certain option again… Military.

And know what… I am out of options and Military does look good on a resume. current ideas are Coast guard and Navy. I happen to be a VERY good swimmer, and coast guard is conveniently close.

I realize that some of you, or rather the only one who reads this thing… have some strong opinions on the subject, but I am out of ideas.

And hey if I managed to not shoot myself staying with dad for 10 months… I should be fine.

A while back I entered the Eye Of Judgment Tournament on the PS3. Its that card game done with the PS3 Eye

Anyways… it has an odd set up, You are not in a tree, you do as many matches in the time frame as you want, how well you do in them accumulate and that is how you win.

I lost all four rounds I played.

buuut… to get a prize, you must respond to a confirmation email… enough of them didn’t… so I ended up being sent a victory letter by default. I responded, and low and behold I got this in the mail

I won by regularly checking my email.

3 months and still no job…

things have been getting tense around here. My sister seems to have taken to a habit of snapping at about any goddamn thing I do.

Got a call from my father today, apparently one of my former co-workers died today. They were coyote hunting and the moron ran with his gun, tripped and the gun went off as he fell towards it. They went from -location A for your purposes- to Glendive in 19 minutes (that is usually an hour trip) sadly not fast enough, he died on the way.
and it is sad that I can not remember his name for this post even. can remember his stepmom's name but then again she was my boss. He was just one of many coworkers... good kid though.
Morale of the story, listen to your hunter's safety instructors. Only need to mess up once

Well I remembered why I do not attend parties, bored, bored, surrounded by cigarette smoke giving me a headache, always somehow in someone's way. I left after half an hour, I can stand around with no one to talk to at home, and have it more peaceful.

at least Metal gear solid 4 is fun. even Metal Gear online, though I suck at it
